Project Introduction

A global leader in building automation provides integrated solutions for HVAC equipment and control products, including chiller and heat pump units. For the existing market, there is a need to upload the operational status data of these units to a cloud server via 4G networks to enable cloud-based management. Therefore, the client is seeking a 4G router solution.

Solution Description

The Zigbee gateway connects to the chiller unit controller via its serial port. Multiple Zigbee gateways form a MESH network, with data ultimately aggregated at the 4G router's RS-485 interface.
The 4G router supports Modbus to MQTT protocol conversion, uploading operational data to the Azure server.
Our company provides a dedicated management platform for the 4G routers, enabling centralized management, remote firmware upgrades, configuration and data backup, device debugging, and other functions. This meets the requirements for large-scale deployment.
