Overview

The Honeywell repair laboratory receives various products and components for maintenance daily. Previously, each returned product required manual recording of information from the point of receipt and warehousing to its transfer to respective labs for repair. Tracking and tracing a specific product involved significant time and patience to search through records, resulting in low management efficiency.

To address its specific needs, Honeywell collaborated with West-HN to implement an inventory server system integrated with audible/visual reminder tags. This solution enables real-time product logging upon warehouse entry, instant viewing of product locations, intelligent and rapid item retrieval, on-demand calling and locating, and real-time product record tracking on large screens. This has saved time, reduced labor costs, significantly improved work efficiency, and provided clear visibility into the product repair process and location status.

Application Diagram

Bind the product tote box with an audible/visual reminder tag.
The reader receives the tag signal.
The reader transmits the data to the Positioning & Inventory Server WE-LS10.
The processed data from the server is integrated with the PC management software.
Personnel manage real-time data via PC or tablet/handheld terminals.
The audible/visual tag bound to the tote box receives a call command and triggers an alarm (sound and light), allowing personnel to quickly locate the item based on the alert.
