Wifi6原称802.11ax，是第六代无线网络技术；Wifi5原称802.11ac，是第五代无线网络技术。Wifi6和Wifi5都是802.11无线局域网通信标准。

调制模式方面

Wifi6支持1024-QAM（Quadrature Amplitude Modulation，正交振幅调制）由Wifi5的256 QAM单次8bit变成单次10bit，数据容量提升了25%，延迟降低75%，支持设备增加约提升4倍，相对速度提升40%
